Lauren Adams is a freelance bridal hairstylist based in St Ives, Cornwall, with over 15 years of experience in hairdressing and a strong background in both salon work and weddings. Her approach is calm, considered and highly detail-focused, ensuring every bride feels confident and completely at ease on their wedding morning. From creating structured timelines for bridal parties to delivering beautifully finished styles, Lauren focuses on keeping the morning relaxed, organised and running smoothly.

Lauren began her hairdressing journey at 19, training at Camborne College before starting work at Blew St Ives (formerly Donna’s Hair Design) in 2009, where she still works today. This is also where all bridal trials are held, offering a familiar and trusted setting for brides to refine their look.

Although her career in hair began early, Lauren’s bridal focus developed in 2020 during lockdown, when she took the opportunity to expand her skills through advanced training. Since then, she has specialised in soft, modern bridal styling, from effortless waves to elegant updos, always tailored to suit the bride’s features, dress and overall vision.

By combining technical skill with a calm, reassuring presence, Lauren delivers bridal hair that feels polished, personal and beautifully timeless.
